The colors:
Red = High Voltage
Purple = Violet Volt
Pink = Pretty Natural
They go on pretty true to the tube color however the purple is not as purple and turns more into a magenta/pink once it’s on. They are on the bold side and I think perfect for the fall.
Pros: The application is nice and creamy and really one swipe is all you need, it’s not sheer at all. They also have a surprisingly good lasting power! I tend to lose all my lipstick after I’ve drank my morning coffee but these ones managed to stay on a bit longer and I did not reapply until well after lunch.
Cons: Because of the longer lasting power, I’ve found them to dry out my lips. Nothing a quick application of lip balm can’t fix but I did want to point that out.
You can find them at most drugstores at about $5-$6 each but of course I tend to buy my drugstore makeup when they are running some kind of sale so you can often get them for cheaper! There’s 36 colors so I will for sure be picking up more!
