January Skincare Faves

I picked up some things recently that I am loving for this cold weather we are having.  First, I am a huge fan of L’Occitane products, especially the hand cream.  I keep a travel size version of the Shea Butter Handcream in every purse I own.  I especially can’t travel without it as it seems like whenever I travel to a different region the water dries out my skin so badly and I can’t stand dry hands!  (Tip: If you are flying international, pick it up at the duty free store, it saves you a buck or two on the retail price – I was able to get it for $10 one time and of course saves you on tax!)

Well, for holiday they came out with the L’Occi Box and I knew I had to get my hands on it!  Look at all the mini hand creams that came in it!  I always loved the travel size ones but these mini ones are so awesome to keep in my bags.  They are all different fragrances too which I normally don’t love but I don’t mind these fragrances at all and plus they don’t linger so it’s not like you are smelling them all day.

It also came with all this great and perfect travel sized skincare items.  The best part?  The entire thing was $15!  They had a special code during the holidays to bring the price down from $59!  I got word that they are coming out with another L’OcciBox so will let you guys know when it gets released.

I love shopping with Memebox as they have such different products that I normally wouldn’t even think to shop for elsewhere.  This is the Hydrogel Mask and the Peachy Glow Pact.  Both are to moisturize the skin and the Peachy Glow Pact gives you an extra dewy glow!

If you haven’t yet tried Memebox but are thinking about it, they currently have this Korean Beauty Starter Kit with some great basics, a cleansing oil, cleansing foam, serum and the cutest mist ever!  It’s $39 for the entire set (valued at $71.90) and use this code VI0EQR to get an additional 10% off!
When my skin gets dry, I actually like to use facial oils as one of my last steps in my skincare routine as it truly helps with the dryness.  I’ve been using Bio Oil for a few years now but decided to branch out and try the nyakio hydrating face oil and I LOVE it.  As with all face oils, a little goes a long way so you only need a drop or two but your skin will feel so refreshed after you use this.  If you’ve never tried an oil for your face, you should try it, I promise you will love it!
