Skincare obsessions

I’m a skincare junkie.  I try everything and anything.  Here are some things that I’ve been using that I am OBSESSED with.

The Luna facial cleansing brush from Foreo is my favorite skincare tool right now.  It’s a little silicone brush that vibrates and pulses to clean your face and let me tell you it works!  And it feels so when you are using it.  It’s like you just know it’s doing a good job cleaning, I don’t know why I love that so much but I do.  It’s like so gratifying knowing that you have a clean face at the end of the day.

Murad put together a Sun Safety set which includes their best selling SPF 30 moisturizer (which I have used for awhile and love) and the Advanced Active Radiance Serum which helps reverse signs of environmental damage.  It’s a $105 value for $68 which I don’t know about you but I love a good skincare deal, I feel like stuff like that never goes on sale.  I also love this set as every purchase made, Murad will donate to the American Academy of Dermatology to build shade structures in parks and playgrounds across the US so that kid’s can play outside without us parents worrying about what the sun is doing to their skin.  This is a big thing for me as my daughter loves parks and playgrounds and she goes to one and plays outside for at least an hour every day.  I want to make sure her skin is protected and I think having shade structures for playgrounds is such a great idea!

I recently was invited to have my first facial at Skoah and it came right at the perfect time.  My daughter was being extremely fussy that week – she is normally a very happy, loving little toddler.  Well that week I think she was teething and had a major growth spurt and started to learn how to throw a major tantrum (those terrible two’s are already coming!) suffice to say, it had been a difficult week for me.  I went to the appointment for my facial and in 45 minutes I was beyond relaxed.  It was WONDERFUL.  The skincare treatments that my esthetician did was catered for my skin type and all products used are made by Skoah and with all natural ingredients.  I came out of my cozy little spa room and instantly booked my next appointment, I just loved it so much!  They have four locations in the Seattle area (I went to the downtown location) and I had to let you know that if you sign up here you can get a free facial too!

After my appointment my esthetician walked me through some of the products that she used and what she recommended.  She wasn’t pushy at all or made me feel like I had to buy something which is really nice.  I did end up picking up this eye cream as I needed a new one and I really did love it when she put it on me during my facial.  I’ve been using it daily since I got it and it’s a definite staple in my routine now.  The jar is also fairly big for an eye cream.  You only need a dab and so I know it’s going to last me awhile.  Don’t forget to sign up for the free facial, you won’t regret it I promise!
