Being stuck in a beauty rut is the worst, because by the time you feel like experimenting with new products again, you’re behind on 50 new products. That’s what we love and hate about the beauty world, no? The fast pace means there’s always going to be a new and better lipstick to try.
This month, I didn’t get too crazy, but there are definitely more than a few simple, everyday products that I’ve come to adore and incorporated into my beauty routine that I want to share.
Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Conditioner Spray is the hair version of a mid-day pick-me-up. If you’re not a fan of the matte, super-textured look that dry shampoo produces, then this corrects that by adding back some shine and softness.
L’Oreal Sleek It Iron Straight Heatspray was something I picked up, because the packaging was cute. It’s actually a great product though! I love the smell and that it dries quickly so I can curl my hair ASAP.
It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush is my go-to for genuinely natural lips currently. It’s clear but has the texture of lipstick, so it feels nicer on the lips than a tacky lip balm.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara thickens lashes like nobody’s business. Think voluptuous and layer it on. I think the metallic pink packaging’s pretty fab too.
Steamcream is one of those skincare staples I turn to when my skin needs a breather from the millions of active ingredients I slather on it.
Tula Hydraying Day & Night Cream touts “probiotic technology,” which seems like a marketing gimmick, and maybe it is. One thing’s for sure, my skin drinks it up when it feels drier than usual.
Herbivore Bamboo Charcoal Soap is the trendiest thing you’d have in your bathroom. Charcoal has always been hailed for its detoxifying properties and the bar form of this particular cleanser means it’ll last forever (get your money’s worth).
Bare Republic Natural Mineral Sunscreen smells genuinely great: like coconuts. The non-chemical scent encourages reapplication, and by extension: anti-aging.
What are some new beauty products you’re excited about?
