It shocked me that some of my friends don’t have a proper cleansing routine. Personally, I look forward to my nighttime regimen. One tip that I like to give is to have different products on hand to switch it up and make cleansing less of a chore. Here are a few of the products that have been in my arsenal recently.
Clay is a huge trending ingredient in skincare and juice for its detoxifying properties. This one’s pink too. Just mix together the Herbivore Pink Clay and water for an instant, fresh mask.
Lush Angels on Bare Skin is a cult-classic cleanser. The lavender and clay really help soothe skin and draw out impurities. The texture is a little rough, so I prefer it as a once-a-week exfoliator rather than an everyday cleanser.
Living in smoggy LA currently, my go-to cleanser is still this Murad cleanser (written up here). Sometimes though, my skin feels a little dry and lackluster, in which case I’ll pull out the Tula Purifying Face Cleanser, which feels a little more moisturizing.
After a midday workout, I rarely have the time to re-do my entire face. Instead, I’ll wipe off my skin with the Proactiv+ Makeup Cleansing Wipes and just dab on concealer and powder, leaving the eyes untouched (waterproof makeup is key here). Same for hair. A blast of the Klorane Dry Shampoo is a perfect quick fix.
