ColourPop Haul and Review

Many of my favorite lipsticks are the ones that weight heftily in your hand and are wrapped in a sleek, luxurious exterior. They ring up a pretty penny at the counter though, so I think about whether I’d really use that color frequently before allowing myself to indulge.

In the case of the cosmetic brand: ColourPop, that’s not an issue. Each of their Lippie Stixs and Lippie Pencils are unbelievably priced at just $5 without compromising on the quality of the product. Sure the packaging isn’t glamorous, but I can do without that since they offer such a huge range of colors with true-to-life pigmentation.

I was feeling in a colorful mood when I was browsing their site and decided to get into purple. I picked up from left to right:

Brills (a pretty lilac lavender)
Pitch (a red-toned vampy brown)
Feminist (a bruised dark black-purple)
Leather (a loud and proud grape purple)

These lippies are all amazing. I love that you can get a matching lip liner and lipstick for less than the price of one MAC lippie. The colors are on point with trends, and since the price point is so low, there’s no risk in trying out colors you might feel unsure about.

Have you shopped from ColourPop before?
