Summer Wedding Guest – What to wear to a beach wedding

My brother is getting married in Costa Rica next month!  I’m so excited for the wedding and just getting away to a gorgeous tropical vacation!  I still trying to decide what to wear so I bought a ton of dresses online and wanted to share with you what I am deciding between.  I wanted something appropriate for a wedding but also not too dressy as they have emphasized that they want everyone to be comfortable and also that it will be on the beach so heels would not be recommended.  I also didn’t want to spend a lot of money so tried to stay around $100-$150.  I haven’t yet decided on shoes but most likely will be in flat sandals and then wedges later on for the reception. 

Dress 1: This lace skater dress is so so cute!  I love the lace and the scallops and how the skirt is just the right amount of poofiness.  I’m not leaning towards this one since we will be in Costa Rica I would rather have some color but I had to get it and try it on as I loved it online and I love it even more in person.  I may have to keep it and just wear it for another occasion.

  

 Dress 3: This fit & flare dress is so cute and combines the things I like about the first two, the color and the lace!  However I just didn’t feel like it was very flattering on me so I am taking this one back.  It is currently on sale though! 

Dress 4: This midi dress is my favorite out of the bunch.  I love the big floral pattern and the midi length.   Also great that it’s cotton as Costa Rica will be hot hot hot.  AND it was on sale for 40% off! It’s at the top of my list!

I just got these dresses in the mail this weekend and didn’t have a chance to photograph them on. 

This jeweled drop waist dress is so pretty and it’s only $55!  And this blue lace dress is really pretty on.  I love the cut out back and also that it comes in petite sizing.  This little pink dress
is a cute option for a more basic dress like the 2nd one from above but
I like that this one gives more shape and is not as casual.
