Skincare Essential: Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Cream Review

This post was sponsored by Neutrogena.  All thoughts and opinons are mine.
My mom passed down her love of skincare to me and lucky for me, she got
me started on it early.  I am very experience in trying out different products and figuring out what is best for my skin.  I am almost embarrassed by the amount of product
I keep on my bathroom sink but I’ve been better at narrowing it
down to just things that I love and use often.

There’s no hiding that I’m getting older and wrinkles are creeping in so I started using the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Regenerating Cream which is actually a retinol product.  When I was first introduced to retinol in my 20’s I was a bit frightened of them. They were strong and almost felt like it was burning my skin.  As I hit my 30’s I started to dip my toes into more retinol products but still didn’t find one that I loved… until now!  This cream is packed with powerful moisturizing ingredients that leave skin fresh, nourished and plumped.  It’s not harsh at all and it’s great to use both day and night.  They claim that you will see results in as little as one week and although I don’t have super harsh wrinkles to be able to create that much of a difference, I do see much more smoothness to my skin and even in this harsh winter my skin has felt perfectly moisturized.

I use this in the morning before I apply my makeup.  Because it’s a cream, I give it some time to sink into my skin before I apply my makeup.  And at night I use this as the last step to my skincare routine.  Even though it’s a cream it’s not as heavy as some creams that I have used, which I really like.  I hate the feeling of a heavy cream that sometimes stays at the surface of your skin.  I feel like those kind of creams tend to make me break out.  I haven’t had any problems with breakouts with this product.  If you are looking for a great wrinkle repair product I  highly recommend you check this one out!

I love that it comes in a glass jar too rather than a pump or a tube.  I’m able to get the product out easily and the jar is fairly big so you get plenty of product!  You can get it here (it’s less than $20!)
