I'm all about comfort on the weekends. I always plan a full schedule for my family as my daughter is a restless one who needs to be entertained all the time and is also resisting her daily naps. I have to keep her busy, always, or else she drives me cray if we stay at home all day long. I do a lot of craft projects, play dates or classes. She's currently LOVING her ballet class, she looks forward to it every week and then we end up going out afterwards and we just stay busy all day! With that said, comfort is key but I still like to look cute so here's a few outfits that I found via Pinterest that I'm definitely copying!
Being a mom is hard work but you don't have to sacrifice your style. I love that all of these outfits incorporate a few simple pieces but it's all about proportion - long cardigan with a baggy graphic tee, slouchy sweater with skinny jeans, etc... that make it look stylish and not sloppy.
Southern Curls and Pearls
I used to think platforms and wedges were comfy shoes until I had a kid and needed to chase her down everywhere! I still wear heels often but I love flat boots and comfy sneakers and find that even though they are casual it doesn't mean that they can't be stylish. I stick to minimal/streamlined sneakers like THESE below for my casual outfits and then leave the fun, bright colored ones for when I go to the gym.
