I love Seattle summers. The spring is a bit tougher as we get these streaks of super rainy days and then occasionally it’s just crazy sunny! And it’s not even day by day that the weather changes, it can be by the hour! Like this day I took photos, it was so bright and sunny and by the time I got home a few hours later, it was pouring down rain! Such crazy weather. So I struggle with dressing for this weather but I am loving cold shoulder tops and jeans for days like this. I just bring a jacket and cover up when it gets cooler but when it’s so bright and sunny, the cold shoulder top is just what I need.
Something that I can always rely on though, are my sunglasses. I need sunglasses on me at all times because like I said, when I’m out, it will be dark and overcast but all of the sudden the clouds will part and suddenly my eyes are hurting! I am loving these Maui Jim sunglasses, not only are they cute but they have polarized lenses which basically helps adjust your eyes to the changing lights/brightness. The lenses are able to enhance the colors that you are seeing rather then just dimming them! I own a crazy amount of sunglasses and I can honestly say that these are some of the best sunglasses that I’ve owned. You don’t realize how much you need good quality sunglasses until you own a pair like this and realize just what you were missing out on!
I love the Seattle waterfront and being able to see all the gorgeous colors with my sunglasses is so cool! I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything when I wear the sunglasses. I They also eliminate glare which if you’ve ever been driving behind a car on a sunny day you understand how hard and dangerous that can be!
I’m wearing the Sunshine style in Pink with Pink Tokyo. I love that it’s a tortoise shell with a pink hue as it goes with everything! The sunglasses are also really light and comfortable. I have a lot of trouble finding glasses that fit the bridge of my very flat Asian nose but these fit so well. If you have the same problem as me, I know how frustrating it is to find a cute pair of sunglasses and not be able to fit your face! I actually also own Moonbow and Summer Time styles and they all fit my face great!
I’m definitely looking forward to a lot more sunny days and getting lots of use out of all these items!
