Love the blue dress! Just recently discovered maxis. I have a black tank dress that I absolutely love--so comfy. Thanks for clearing up the short-maxi wearing issue. I always wondered about that. I'm the same height as you, so I thought being short would make it look funny. It looks great though! Sometimes I belt it up just for fun and wear some wedges with my maxi dress.

The maxi looks fab on you! I haven't yet bought one yet, but am quite tempted to...Thing is that I rarely wear dresses because I think I'm too pale (and I can't tan!). But since maxi's will cover my legs, maybe I'll give them a chance...hmmm~

Ah, maxis DO work on petites, even with flats!! I have those sandals and I really don't understand why they don't make a 5? Even on me (I have half size bigger feet on you) they slip and they aren't the easiest to walk around in for long because there just isn't enough stuff holding the shoe to your feet. Oh well...they were cheap and cute beaching around : )

I have become such a huge fan of maxi dresses, I now own 3 and I wear them every weekend, shame my puppy thinks the long flowy material is to play with, haha. I am 4'11" and I wear patterned and solid maxi dresses with flats, I think they look better with flats anyways. My blue maxi is almost the same color as yours! Really cut hat, I need to pull out my hats, they're all hiding in my closet. Glad you finally got a nice day in Seattle!

When I traveled to cancun recently, I wore my maxi dress on the plane with a cardigan and it was the perfect traveling outfit!
