The Same but Different

***Shop I am Style-ish has been updated with more clothes!  I only had time to post a few things but a bunch of stuff has already been sold so take a peek before the rest is gone!**

Time for another round of The Same but Different!  I am coveting all of these and the looks-for-less versions are oh so tempting, I can’t decide which ones I like better!

I’ve been lusting for the Mulberry Alexa for awhile now and I’m sure the look-a-like version won’t have the buttery leather but for under $100 it might be worth trying it out!

Mulberry Alexa vs. Melie Bianco Satchel
(if that link doesn’t work they have them in several colors at Baghaus too!)

Valentino has been killing it with the bows on their handbags.  I love them all.  However, the one on the right with the bow and ruffle detail is pretty as well!

Valentino ‘Bon Bon Dome Bow’ Satchel vs.  Melie Bianco – Angelica Shoulder Bag

Oh yes, another Valentino bow tote that I adore but I think $995 is a tad overpriced for a patent leather bag.  However $90 for a similar bag, I can do!

You know I’m lusting after the Chloe Marcie crossbody bag.  They have the smaller version that is adorable but lookie, I found a very similar style for $600 less than the Chloe!

Chloe Marcie Mini Bag vs. Melie Bianco Dakota

So similar right? I can’t decide which one I like better!  Both are so cute!  Except one is about $600 and the other is about $100 so there you go. 🙂

Prada nude cut-out calfskin peep toe slingbacks vs. Chinese Laundry Hopscotch Heels

A fancy little red shoe will always make a LBD a little bit more fun.  Not only do you get a little added sparkle but you save a whole lot of money compared to the Valentino version!

Valentino Bow Pump vs. J. Renee ‘Gabriele’ Pump

I would wear either of these!  They are so similar yet different at the same time.  But a nude platform pump is always a good thing in my book.

Casadei Satin Triple-Platform Pump vs. Michael Antonio Logi Nude Buckle Back Platform Pumps

I fell in love with the Pour la Victoire ones first (and they are on sale for more than 50% off!) but then I stumbled upon the Casadei ones which are so pretty but at $670, the sale price on the Pour la Victorie ones are winning out!

Casadei Women’s Lace Triple Platform Pump vs. Pour la Victoire Leather and Lace Platform Pump

I was at Barney’s the other night and tried these on. ADORE!! But holy cow, $1,195 for a pair of shoes?  The Steve Madden ones would be a great alternative and would save you $1,055!

Louboutin Madame Butterfly Bootie vs. Steve Madden Propperr Pumps

Phew!  That was a lot this time!  Which ones do you like best?

Go for the original design. Don't settle on a similar version because you will regret later and the item will forever sitting in the back of your closet as a constant reminder of poor judgement.

Quality, not quantity when it comes to handbags and shoes. I am also marveling at your CL collections and the amount of attention put toward caring them.

Oh my goodness, the Melie Bianco Angelica bag has been on my wishlist forever but I can't decide which color to purchase. What a great alternative to the Valentino handbags (I too want them all… so feminine)! You have a wonderful eye!

Great post – I'm in LOVE with the Mulberry bag so I might have to invest in the other one to get the look.
