It’s so exciting to be doing our second launch of skirts!  Jen and I had so much fun picking out fabrics and working on the designs of these skirts, and it’s so awesome to finally have the finished product to show you guys.  We wanted to work on skirts that would be great for the fall/holiday season.  We came up with these fancy yet so fun maxi skirts and we hope that you love them as much as we do!

I admit, I’m not much of a maxi skirt fan.  I’m very short waisted and wearing skirts like this just makes my torso look even shorter so you’ll very rarely see me in anything like this.  However when designing our own line, I really wanted to step out of my comfort zone and I’ve always loved the big full maxi skirt look so we worked on something that we loved.  Plus whenever I tried on something like this, I would have about a foot of fabric dragging on the ground so in addition to creating something we loved, we made it petite friendly too! To make it a bit more casual and (perhaps to be a little cheeky) I added our new I’m so Fancy tee to complete the look.  We also have these skirts in a shorter version, which I adore and have been wearing way too much.  I have to admit, the maxi skirt will not be worn as often but it’s still something that I think is a fab addition to anyone’s closet!

If you are petite (aka short) like me, this will fit you fabulous as we made it to fit at a bit of a shorter length than what you’d traditionally find.  I am 5’2″ and wearing 3″ heels in these photos and as you can see the length fits great. Size wise, I’m wearing the size small and I’m typically a 0 or size 25 in pants.  The waist does have a bit of stretch to it so if you think you may be between sizes, I’d size down.  Please let me know if you have questions about fit or size, I’d be happy to help!
