Petite Styling: The Vest Dress

 

I love vests during the fall.  It’s such an easy layering piece and I have fallen in love with this vest that not only works well as a vest but it can also be worn alone as a dress!

I love the pleating detail and how it makes my casual outfit just a tad bit dressier.  And how cute is this star shirt dress?  I love shirt dresses and this one is so pretty in person, the black material has a bit of gold specks in it. It’s the perfect date night dress!  I added the vest over the dress as it was a suprisingly warm night so didn’t need a heavy coat.  I think it was the perfect topper!
