Happy Holidays! My Christmas cards

I love getting Christmas cards and look forward to getting the mail and getting all the cards from my friends and family.  I wanted to be on top of things this year so actually got my Christmas cards out by December 1st!  I was very proud of myself 🙂

I worked with Minted, which is already a favorite site of mine, on this years cards.  The photo above is my Christmas tree and it’s hard to tell in that photo but it’s actually a rose gold tree.  I’m on a rose gold kick and loved that Minted offers rose gold foil printing!  We had our family photos done in late October, with the gorgeous fall background. The rose gold printing went perfectly with our photo.

Here’s the design we went with but they have a ton of gorgeous designs that includes the foil printing.  They have 5 different foil colors including glitter foil!

I also chose envelopes that matched the style of the cards. I love that it all matches!  I was also very happy to use their printing service.  All I had to do was upload a spreadsheet of the addresses I wanted to send to and they pre-printed their addresses as well as our home address on the back of each envelope.  I’ll be honest, that was probably the main reason why these got sent out so early!  It always seems to be the printing of each envelopes or handwriting addresses is what takes me the longest.

If you are in the Seattle area, and need a photographer, we had Jenny Wohrle do our family photos this year and we loved how they turned out.  She did a “day in our life” kind of shoot where she shot at our house with us doing various things that we normally do, like dancing, reading, and walking our dogs and then we went to a park for some nice family photos.  I love how the entire session turned out and highly recommend her!  If you need another recommendation, one of my besties, Yvonne Wong is an amazing wedding photographer and she does family portraits too!  She did ours when my daughter just turned one and the photos are my some of my favorite photos ever.  We typically go with different photographers each year as I just love working with different photography styles and it’s fun to see how each shoot is just a little different.  I would highly recommend those two if you ever need a photographer!
