It is so hard to get dressed up in the winter. I mean I think we can all appreciate staying in our pajamas all day with our hair in a pony tail, am I right? But there are times when I just want to get dressed up and out with friends! I went on a dress hunt for some dressy but not too dressy dresses – if that makes any sense. I wanted to be able to wear these to a party but also just out to dinner with friends if I wanted.
Here’s my little haul! And I apologize about the awful color of the photos. The weather has been so terrible so getting any kind of light to shoot in has been the worst.

I adore this tri color lace dress! I think it’s so simple but pretty with the three colors of lace. It’s actually a lot easier to dress down than you think. I already have worn it with a cozy cardigan, navy tights and ankle booties. I’m wearing the size 2 and it fits great but I’m usually a size 0 so I would size up for this one.

This brand is super affordable and has really cute pieces! I love long sleeve dresses and this one is definitely a keeper. I had to shop this brand more after getting this piece. This navy one with the dots is also really cute and already in my cart! Wearing a size small.

Donna Morgan Women’s Bell Sleeve Sheath
Oh bell sleeves. I have such an obsession with them! I love the lace details on this dress but wasn’t in love with the fit so this went back. I’m wearing a size 2 which ran a bit big in the waist and hips for me. I would have kept it if it fit!

This one just wasn’t doing anything for me. Way cuter in the photos but just way too much going on for me. Also this is the XS but I felt like it was so big. I just think it will work for someone taller and thinner than I am as it’s just a bit much for a petite frame. When you order online there is always going to be a dud! That’s why I always order a bunch of stuff and then return it. I love that about Amazon as they make returns so easy.
