Benefits of oxygenated water therapy – Oxygen Beauty Spa Review

Last week I had the opportunity to try out the Oxygen Beauty Spa, which is truly one of a kind!  I’ve never tried anything else like it and I loved it.  It looks like a bathtub but it’s a million times better, not only for relaxation but because it uses oxygenated water therapy, which is amazing for your skin.

Benefits of oxygenated water therapy

There are so many benefits that I learned about that had me sold on it.  It’s great for anti-aging as it helps with cell regrowth and skin metabolism.  It even helps with breakouts and to improve your overall skin tone!  And best of all it’s just so darn relaxing.  As a busy working mom, I look forward to long relaxing showers and me time, but I don’t always have the time for it. If I had one of these in my home, I would definitely make time in my day for it!  All you need is 20 minutes to get all the benefits from the oxygen treatment.

My experience with the Oxygen Beauty Spa

As you can see the tub is fairly large so I had plenty of room.  The tub is also ergonomic so you can sit and relax very easily, it even has a perfect little spot for your head to rest.  You can control the temperature of the tub (I had it at 104 which was the perfect temperature for me!) and turn on the oxygen treatment easily with the control panel on the side.  And I love that there is different colored lights that you can change to make it an even more of a calming environment.

You can add salts or essential oils but it’s totally not necessary.  It was a very relaxing experience, and what was even better was that when I got out, my skin felt so soft and smooth. I really could tell a huge difference!  It was so rainy and cold on the day that I went and it was the perfect thing for my dry skin.

Oxygen Water Therapy

There is nothing but water in the tub!  The oxygen treatment creates all those tiny little bubbles which creates the cloud of bubbles so you really get the benefits of the oxygen for your skin.  I grabbed this from their website which I thought explained it really well.

The micro bubbles are hundreds of times smaller than the pores of your skin and they penetrate deep beneath the skin surface to rejuvenate skin softness and collagen balance. Fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of aging are reduced. Skin softness and health improves. And it all simply comes from the improved delivery of the oxygen in our water to the surface of your skin.

The perfect spa for moms and moms to be

The first thing that I thought of when I got in was how much I would have loved this when I was pregnant.  I had such bad back pains when I was pregnant that I took a bath almost every day.  Even when I was in labor I requested to be in the bath to help ease the contractions.  I remember at one point being very pregnant and I was slipping around in the bath and just could not get comfortable. I would have LOVED one of these during my pregnancy and I think it would have helped tremendously during those times when you are just feeling so uncomfortable.

I’m not pregnant now but as I mentioned before, I would gladly take one of these just to give myself some me time whenever I wanted.  I often go to the spa to get facials or to get a massage and I love that this is a great at home option.

Outdoor spa

Because it’s not a bathtub, you can put it anywhere!  I love the thought of having this outside and enjoying the outdoors in the spa.  It even filters and cleans the water after each use so it’s not something that is super high maintenance.
