With the holidays coming up, I’m already thinking of gifts for friends and family. To me, nothing is better than a personalized gift! I love my Cricut Maker and have been making so many fun things.  I’ve been obsessed with making custom tees with Infusible Ink and I just love how easy it is but it looks so professional!

My daughter has such a special bond with her grandma and I thought it would be neat to make them matching tee shirts.  We went onto Cricut Design Space™ and chose a design together. Layla and grandma love to do lots of things together, but they’ve always baked together so this design was just perfect!

Every year grandma makes the best holiday cookies so I thought it would be so fitting for Layla to give her this shirt for Christmas!  Layla loves matching mommy and when I told her that she could match Grandma too, her eyes lit up and she couldn’t wait to get started!

If you haven’t heard of Infusible Ink before, it’s basically a heat transfer that prints right onto your material and you can use it on tee shirts, tote bags, even coasters.  I’m obsessed because not only does it look super professional, it’s also really easy to make!

How to make a custom tee with your Cricut Maker:

  1. Choose your design! There’s so many great designs to choose from in the Cricut Design Space™ .  You can head to my projects to find the exact file I used.
  2. Select the size that you want your design.  The adult tee design had to be larger than the kid’s tee but changing the size is so easy to do in design space.
  3. Choose your Infusible Ink transfer sheet.  I used the Distressed Berry pattern. They have so many great colors and patterns to choose from.
  4. Print out your design on your Cricut Maker
  5. Pop out the background from the transfer sheet and place onto your shirt
  6. Transfer the design onto your tee with your Cricut Easy Press.
  7. Take off the transfer sheet and admire your new tee!

It’s really that easy! You don’t even need to wait for it to dry, it’s permanently  printed on the tee and won’t ever peel, crack, or wrinkle!

We packaged it up with a few other baking accessories that we thought grandma would love! Layla was excited to try everything on, of course!

I am pretty new to my Cricut Maker but what I love is that it hasn’t been hard to use at all.  I love that I can use it to make personalized tee shirts like these but it also does a ton more, I’ve used it to cut out banners for my daughter’s birthday party and I’m looking forward to trying out some fabric projects too as it can easily cut fabric too!

Do you have a Cricut Maker?  Let me know what your favorite projects are that you love to make, I am always looking for new projects to do with it! Make sure to PIN this project or bookmark it to make it for later!
